Today is Sonic the Comic‘s 32nd anniversary! To that end, we have a pretty sizable update for the STC pages, including 26 new reviews! This encompasses every story to feature Sonic (or Tails!) from the comic’s first year, everything from Enter: Sonic to The Sonic Terminator, stopping off for a jaunt through The Nameless Zone and The Land Beyond, finishing on the first Sonic’s World story!
More than that, we have an extra special treat for all STC readers (that’s Boomers to you and I!) out there! Nigel Kitching, legendary Sonic scribe, has kindly allowed us to host four of his original pitch documents! These documents to Sonic the Comic‘s editors show Nigel’s thought processes and plans when creating some of the comic’s most iconic and important moments, and now they’re immortalised here. For now they’re found at the top of the Sonic the Comic page!

Just a short and sweet update today – which is appropriate, because Sonic & Friends now has a Continuity page!
With this, we have an addition to make to the manga entries and we have to cover the series’ early concept arts and series bibles, and we’ll be about ready for the real hard work to begin! Wish us luck, won’t you?

After a major update last time, we’ve been able to get this next Continuity page out quite quickly – Sonic Boom now has its own overview page! As one might imagine, given this continuity also relies on the Archie Comics continuity, we couldn’t really complete one without the other!
We’re now closer than ever to having overview pages for every Sonic continuity, so expect the few remaining gaps to be plugged very soon. In addition, a couple of crossover games have been added to the Adventure Master List.
As ever, don’t forget you can contact us at KintoborComputer@gmail.com or on Twitter (@KintoborComp) and Bluesky (at kintobor.computer).
Until next time,

After ringing in the new year and getting all the usual tumult of the holiday season behind us, we’re proud to say that at long last the Archie Comics page is now live on the site! As of right now, it’s pretty much just a cover gallery, but you wouldn’t believe how much work has had to go into organising all of this and getting things in as close to the right order as possible!
The next steps for the Archie page will be to add the full story list – though naturally you can still find the stories listed on the Adventure Master List – and a chronological reading order, as seen on the Sonic the Comic page. The IDW Sonic page will similarly be receiving these at some stage (though, fortunately, in that instance, publication date and chronological reading order are largely one and the same). With the Archie page ticked off, we can finally get to work on the Sonic Boom page, which shouldn’t take anything like as long. After that, we have a few more minor things to add and everything will be listed… that’s when the real work begins!
You can, of course, contact us at KintoborComputer@gmail.com or on Twitter (@KintoborComp) and Bluesky (at kintobor.computer).
Until next time,
Stay Sonic!

It’s been a while, we admit it! But today’s update is something of a statement of intent. We’ve added a few new pages which you can see in the navigation bar up above, listing off all the characters, items and locations in everything covered by the site so far. As you might expect, these lists will be updated as we cover more Sonic content.
We say it’s a statement of intent because over time we’ll not only be adding more reviews of Sonic media, we’ll also be adding information pages for each individual entry on the other pages too to truly make this a repository of all things Sonic the Hedgehog. If it wasn’t clear before, hopefully now you have a feel for exactly how in-depth we’re hoping to go!
By now you know you can contact us at KintoborComputer@gmail.com or on Twitter (@KintoborComp) and now on Bluesky too (at kintobor.computer).
Until next time,
Stay Sonic!

A month on from our last update in which we completed all of 1991’s reviews and we’ve hit our next major update. Well, sort of. Today brings with it fourteen new reviews for you to sink your teeth into, including two major video game releases and twelve entries from Archie Comics’ take on Sonic’s world.
While this isn’t technically everything from 1992, it is everything that is currently available. It’s our hope that one day the Shogakukan Manga will be more widely available (and, ideally, officially translated too!) but, until such a time, we’re willing to label 1992 as “technically complete” on our site. Head over to the Adventure Master List to find direct links to all the new reviews.
As ever, you can contact us via email at KintoborComputer@gmail.com or you can message us on Twitter (@KintoborComp is the site’s handle).
Until next time,

Today we hit our first milestone, small though it may be! We’ve added new reviews for Sonic’s first 8-bit adventure and his first North American adventure, specifically Sonic the Hedgehog (8-bit) and the 1991 Sonic the Hedgehog comic.
With that, we have reviewed all known Sonic releases from 1991! It’s certainly true that 1991 represents the smallest year for the series with only a few entries, but it’s a milestone nevertheless. You can always check out the Adventure Master List and the Site Progress page to see what’s coming up soon. With 1992 looming large, we’d really better get that Archie Comics page in a fit state, hadn’t we?
You can contact us via email at KintoborComputer@gmail.com or you can message us on Twitter (@KintoborComp is the site’s handle).
Until next time,

A smaller update today but still a little bit of new content for you all. We have new reviews for two video games (Sonic Eraser and WakuWaku Sonic Patrol Car) and two Sonic the Hedgehog Story Comic stories (Sonic Rampage!! and Story Gaiden), with the Adventure Master List also being updated to reflect this.
Regrettably, there’s a bit of downer news to this update- that old chestnut of physical hardware failure has struck and we’ve lost a list of a few additions to the Adventure Master List. Fear not, however, because we know what those additions are so it shouldn’t take too much to recreate that smaller list and add it to the bigger one.
Don’t forget, you can contact us via email at KintoborComputer@gmail.com or you can message us on Twitter (@KintoborComp is the site’s handle).
Until next time,

Things are starting to come together a bit more today with some of the continuity pages for the site previously missing now added. We’ve now got overviews for La Sirène, Dash & Spin, the Official Sonic Shorts and the Sonic Comic manga. You can head over to the Continuities page to check out every overview page that’s currently live.
The Adventure Master List has also been updated to reflect the new additions as well as various tweaks and bits and bobs. As things currently stand, we have two major continuities to add (Archie Comics, the largest by far; and Sonic Boom, which actually relies on the Archie Comics continuity to a degree) plus one minor continuity (Sonic & Friends) as well as plenty of extras due to be added to the Adventure Master List in future updates. Additionally, expect a page about the early Sonic Bible and other such early concept art to follow down the line.
The site remains in its infancy but there’s plenty of new content to be added in the imminent future. As ever, if you want to get in touch with us, you can drop us an email via KintoborComputer@gmail.com or you can drop us a message on Twitter (@KintoborComp is the site’s handle).
Until next time,

June 23rd 2024
Today is the 33rd anniversary of the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise and so, to honour the occasion, the Kintobor Computer website is now live!
For those of you not aware, in Sonic the Comic, the Kintobor Computer was the amazing supercomputer that Sonic and his friends used to get access to all kinds of wonderful information that helped them save the world. Similarly, this site aims to be a repository of all of Sonic’s incredible adventures across the many and various different continuities of the Sonic franchise.
Over time, this site will grow to encompass reviews for every one of those entries in the annals of hedgehog history, giving you our honest opinion on each of the hundreds of thrilling escapades Sonic and his friends (and enemies!) have been a part of since 1991. You might be wondering why we’d subject ourselves to such a mammoth undertaking. Why not check out our About page to see just why we do what we do?
What we’re launching with today is, essentially, a framework from which the rest of the site will grow. We have a handful of reviews to start you off, covering (of course) the original Sonic the Hedgehog video game and Sonic’s earliest manga adventures. The rest of 1991’s content will be getting reviews live on the website very soon, don’t you worry! We also have index pages to most of the individual Continuities. The remaining gaps will similarly be plugged in the coming weeks. As some of you might well imagine, the largest gap is also the largest continuity- with the Archie Comics covering some thirteen-thousand pages of content, we’ve had to take a little extra time to get that one ready. Look for the finished Archie Sonic page soon. In the meantime, why not have a little browse around and see if any of the other pages catch your eye?
Perhaps the largest resource we have, however, is the Adventure Master List. This is a list of every adventure Sonic (or one of his pals) has starred in from June 1991 all the way up to June 2024. There’ll be more to come in the future, of course, and we even think there are a few things yet to be added to what we have, but if you want an idea of just how far-reaching Sonic’s influence is and just how many different stories he’s starred in, be sure to give it a look!
While the site may seem a touch barebones for now, we want to assure you this is only the beginning for our humble endeavour. Updates will be coming frequently. We’re already hard at work on character pages as well as pages chronicling items and locations in the ever-expanding Sonic multiverse. In fact, why not take a look at our rather large To Do List? When all is said and done, we just love Sonic and want to share that passion with you all. By making a site that’s part-repository, part-review host, we hope we’ll be able to show that passion and inspire you to share your own!
If you want to get in touch with us, you can drop us an email via KintoborComputer@gmail.com or you can drop us a message on Twitter (@KintoborComp is the site’s handle). Let us know your thoughts, your suggestions, what you think to our content as it comes in and spread the love for this mad, wonderful series.
Until next time,
Stay Sonic!
