Review
As with the Robotnik’s Badniks! page, this isn’t so much a strip as a featurette. It’s all drawn nicely enough but there’s honestly very little to talk about here. Most of the page is actually taken up by Sonic whizzing about at high speed. While it’s a fun concept to have a closer look at Sonic’s Power Sneakers while reeling off their supposed features, the simple design of Sonic’s shoes actually means the end result is visually a little boring- when all’s said and done, his shoes aren’t rendered as much more than rounded triangles with lines representing treads on the bottom. Elegant in their simplicity but surprisingly tricky to make exciting when you attach an itemised list to them! An inoffensive page-filler.

| Captures the feel of silver age Marvel Comics featurettes. | There’s really nothing much to get into here. |
| THE VERDICT | RANK |
| Another harmless bit of fun but nothing particularly notable either way! | ![]() Given this is a single-page pin-up, we don’t think it fair to give it a regular rating. |
